Rev. Ronald Brown

During his college years, Pastor Brown accepted his call into the Gospel ministry. The many relevant courses in the field of Religious Studies offered by Christian Brothers College provided a great platform for teaching and preaching the unadulterated Word of God.

Pastor Brown served as an Associate Minister at his home church — St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church — under the leadership of Rev. T. R. Buckner, Sr. and Rev. W. J. Morgan. In March 1991, Pastor Brown was selected to be the Senior Pastor, where he has faithfully served with diligence and grace.

Pastor Brown’s goal is to shepherd the attending flock in terms of being the caretaker for their spiritual, educational, and physical well-being. He aims to continue training up soldiers in the Army of the Lord.

• He proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• He cares for the widows, orphans, sick and shut-in members as well as those in the surrounding community
• He provides intelligent and assertive leadership in directing St. Luke MBC in its mission work

Additionally, Pastor Brown is a 21-year member of the Memphis Baptist Ministerial Association.
